“God begins to communicate to us the value human life from the first verse of the Bible…
God created the universe for His glory, but in that, the conditions necessary for human life to exist, everything we have need of God created…
So God created this one blue marble in this vase universe for humanity to live on…
Our value is intrinsic (baked in, within our nature, just because we are) not based on function… because we’re made in the image of God…
All creation has the finger print of God on it, but only Humanity has the image of God on him….
Our value to God isn’t because we’re without holes, or perfect vessels, it’s simple because we are His, we carry His image, because He created us…
And this should affect how we value others, not simply for what they can do for us, but simply because they are, because God created them, not matter how tarnished they are His image is still on them…
Until we truly know our value in God, we’ll never live to the fullness of Christ He’s called us to… Knowing God’s value of us and others will affect how we treat others as well…
God values us in whatever state we are in… We must extend that same love and value to others…
The act of loving this way will cost us… But it will cost us not to love and value this way as well… As you love and value as God has loved and valued you, God will use you to bring home the lost sheep… coin… son…
Something is worth what you’re willing to pay for it… God the Father values us enough to give His only Son to die in our place…
All being said He is still holy and just… Your value is great to God… but that value doesn’t entitle us to live as we please without Jesus…
God say’s you are worth the life of Jesus Christ Himself! God has a greater love for you than you could ever comprehend! So being that He values you so much, is there wisdom in finally giving your heart and whole life to Him? Who could love and value you more?”
