Let not your Hearts be Troubled: The Way, The Truth, and The Life: Peace for the Troubled Heart!

“God’s desire is that trouble wouldn’t consume you…

These are Jesus’ last words to His disciples before the cross… Even though they were to see Jesus die they were not to doubt…

Jesus knew they would be going into a season where there faith would be tested. He desired that they would believe in Him beyond their ability to perceive with their eyes…

They believed in God (the Father) who they had never seen… they were to believe in God (the Son) when they could not see Him either…

The cure for the troubled heart is believing in God…

Trouble can be in our homes, it can be waves crashing into our boat… but it doesn’t have to make its way into our hearts… All the water in the sea cannot hurt a ship as long as it stays out of the boat… trouble exists… the key is to keep it out of our hearts…

Jesus was returning home to Heaven… one of Jesus’ expressed purposes in going was to prepare eternity for us… If you’re in Christ your home is not this world but Heaven…

This truth, prayerfully can provide some perspective for the heart, of the troubled believer…

The ideas expressed here is the simplest purpose of Heaven, simply to be with Jesus…

Better to be honest about our ignorance concerning God than, in pride, to remain silent and miss out on His great truths…

Jesus was saying to the Disciples; Don’t be troubled I’m going away, I’m going to Heaven and you will join me, How do we get to Heaven? Trust that I am the way, the truth, the life…

The Way – only God’s perfect son could have paid the price for our salvation… Jesus being the only way, has, is and will always be the hard truth about know God and salvation…

The Truth – His truth is absolute and universal…

Jesus said nothing original or on His own, but only what the Father told Him to say… Truly great thoughts and truths are only re-imaginations from the mind of God…

So often we believe in theory, but we don’t believe His (the only) truth by our actions. Our hearts and lives can sometimes betray our words…

The Life – both our spiritual life here and to eternity… if we follow His Way and accept His Truth we must also accept His life… and we must also willingly give our lives to His leadership…

The possibilities of what God could do within us is endless… through the Spirit… There is no limit to the power of our prayers when they are done in accord with the will of God…

We can at times not believe enough in the power of prayer…

“He is the way to Heaven, the truth of Heaven, the life of Heaven. He is heaven’s everything.” And this is what we can look forward to in the day of trouble…

So what is Jesus telling us today; Don’t let your hearts be troubled in this crazy world. Believe in Me, trust me, trust that I’m living and working for your good. I’m preparing your Heavenly reward and I’m looking forward to the day when you will join me. If you want to join me, follow me in the way that I go, trust that I am the only way, observe and listen to the truth that comes from My heart, and let it play out in your life, that your life would reflect My life…”
