Our Shepherding Companion God

“The God of the Bible is not who this world is making Him out to be…

Many have made God into their own image… Instead of conforming their lives to God’s desires… they conform God into their lives and desires… Instead of allowing God to change them they want to change God…

The moment we start making God into who we want Him to be, instead of Who He truly is, is the moment we’ve made our own God…

JEHOVAH (YHWH) – ROHI The Lord is my Shepherd

He is a shepherd that takes care of, and has great love for, His sheep…

Jesus as the Good Shepherd; dealt with the penalty of sin… deals with the power of sin… and is coming to take us from the very presence of sin…

Trust is only known when it’s experienced… when it has to be trusted… we can say we’d like to walk on water, but we first have to get out of the boat…

Only in the nearness and presence of God can we be and feel safe, and know genuine rest…

God desires to transform our lives… and in allowing His Spirit to do so… we give Him glory, we honor His name…

Within our own lives though the valley is uncomfortable, it’s necessary for our growth and well-being that we can move on to better ground…

If we can trust Him in the valley, we can be fearless in the valley…

Table (tablelands) – this is the ministry of Jesus, He prepares the ground of nourishment before us, though we live in a world filled with the enemy…

No matter how many valleys He may lead us through the ultimate prize is not to be found in this temporary world, but our Heavenly home…

JEHOVAH (YHWH) – SHAMMAH The Lord is my Companion/ The Lord is There

This name of God serves as a promise that God’s presence and power is with us… “God is a circle whose center is everywhere and whose circumference is nowhere.”

The effects of sin; sorrow, pain, sickness, unhappiness, guilt and death will be no more, obliterated by the final work of Christ… and we will live in perfection with our perfect Shepherding God…”
